AREE Developments is a local, boutique development firm in Vancouver specializing in heritage-conversion and multi-family residential homes. For almost two decades now, AREE has been delivering Quality, Class, and Comfort to discerning families in this community, from the East to the West side.
“Building every home like it’s our own” has been our mantra since the very beginning. Strong integrity, supreme quality, and understanding the client's needs are our strengths at AREE Developments.
Gary Lee, the company’s principal, is a professional civil engineer who has been involved in the construction industry for 30 years, and has always been thoroughly involved in the building process from architectural design to construction.
Every project is a unique brainchild where the team starts from the end-buyers’ perspective to design and build dream homes with attention to every detail. Every project is a masterpiece that we take pride in. We are here to build trust that will last.

GARY LEE
Gary Lee
Principle
In 2004, Gary founded AREE Developments, with a goal to deliver “timeless pieces”: high-quality yet affordable townhomes for discerning families.
Gary spent the first 15 years of his career in various fields of civil engineering from design and construction supervision at Ministry of Transportation and Highways of B.C., to project and construction management at Maunsell Consultants Asia, the largest global engineering consultancy practice in infrastructure. Building residential homes was at first a personal hobby, when Gary built his first house in 1994. After completing multiple projects he eventually realized this was where his passion and specialty lies.
Michael Chan
Project Manager
Michael brought to the company over 15 years of experience in construction supervision and project management. Prior to joining AREE Developments, Michael spent eight years in Delcan corporation Canada, an internationally recognized engineering consulting firm.

Leon Beauregard
Marketing Director
As a resident of Vancouver for 40+ years, Leon has developed a passion for this city. A career in Real Estate has given him the opportunity to combine that passion with his myriad of talents and skills. A 20 year veteran in interior design, marketing, construction and sales in the real estate industry, Leon has gained a solid reputation for his creativity, integrity, and focus on clients’ needs, and has successfully marketed many new construction projects in the Vancouver area.
JAMIE WEGNER
Jamie Wegner
Director, Sales & Land Acquisition
Jamie has been intimately involved in sales for most of his life, from selling high-end automobiles to owning and running a boutique construction company. He has worked on 20+ projects with some of the most recognized and respected developers and is now a senior leader at Real Broker. Jamie believes in collaboration over competition and enjoys supporting his clients, colleagues, and team encouraging them to grow together. Outside of the office, Jamie is very active in his local community. A regular attendant and volunteer at a Church dedicated to giving back to the community and helping the homeless on the Lower East Side, Jamie’s time and dedication to charitable causes is a true passion of his.
